PICTURES FROM EMINENCE, MO/JACK'S FORK RIVER

BRIDGE TO ALLEY SPRINGS

OLD MILL AT ALLEY SPRINGS
OVER 80,000,000 GALLONS PER DAY OF FRESH, FRIGID, PURE SPRING WATER

FUN SPOT TO PLAY IN THE SWIFT CURRENT
THE RECENT RAINS HAVE BROUGHT DOWN MANY TREES ON THE RIVER BANKS AND SOME ARE BLOCKING  THE RIVER'S PATH. LATER IN THE TRIP, MOM AND JACKSON FOUND OUT THESE TREES LIKE TO EAT KAYAKS
FOR BREAKFAST.  ALL WAS FINE, BUT MEG LOST BOTH HER FLIP FLOPS IN THE MISHAP.  BEN FOUND ONE FLOP FLOATING UNDER A ROCK LEDGE ABOUT A HALF MILE DOWNSTREAM.  AN HOUR LATER, OUR NEW FRIENDS FROM MISSOURI, THAT WERE STAYING AT OUR  RESORT AND SHUTTLED WITH US ON THIS FLOAT,
SURPRISINGLY DELIVERED THE OTHER.  GOOD FORTUNE AND GOOD FUN.  TOUGH TO BEAT!!!

BABY LOBSTER

OUR LIL' CABIN

VIEW FROM CABIN
GREAT ROCKY BEACH AND SWIMMING HOLE FOR THE KIDS
LOADED WITH BABY LOBSTER

GREAT PHOTO OF JACKSON'S MINI-BURRITO AT DINNER
AS YOU MIGHT GUESS, JACKSON WAS NOT VERY PLEASED WITH THE SIZE OF THE TWO BURRITOS
IN HIS KID'S MEAL.  BUT ALL WAS SALVAGED WITH A VISIT TO THE DAIRY SHACK RIGHT NEXT DOOR.

GOOD TO THE VERY LAST DROP

ALL THREE ARTERBURN BOYS SCALING THE  ROCK WALLS FOR A DEATH DEFYING
LEAP INTO THE COOL WATER.  MEG TOOK PICTURES OF THE JUMPS, BUT DUE TO A
LACK OF PUSH-UPS, NO PICTURES WILL BE SHOWN OF DAD WITH HIS SHIRT OFF!

SNORKELING THE CLEAR WATERS

GREAT LITTLE SPOT FOR A REST

BEN AND A SWALLOWTAIL

READY FOR BED AFTER LONG DAY ON THE RIVER

BEAUTIFUL HIKING SPOT ON LAST MORNING IN EMINENCE

A LOCAL WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER TOLD US ABOUT THIS SPOT. WAY DOWN AN UNMARKED, ROCKY
ROAD AND HARD TO LOCATE. WE HAD THE SPOT ALL TO OURSELVES AND IT WAS WORTH THE TROUBLE.

COOL DIP ON A HOT DAY

CLIMBING BACK DOWN AND ON OUR WAY TO
OUR NEXT ADVENTURE.

SORRY FOR ALL THE CRAZY SPACING IN THE CAPTIONS.  I AM GOING TO FIGURE THIS OUT BY THE END OF THESE JOURNEYS.
