The night we stayed at the cabin there was a huge telescope set up for guests to look through. We were able to see the rings of Saturn. A nice bonus to end a great day. I could of stayed for another day or so to look at the Grand Canyon but we had to move on to our next destination. At this point we were decideing whether to head home or travel to California to see the Redwoods. We decided to keep our adventure going!

Grand Canyon: North Rim
Arizona was the 13th state we arrived in on our trip. We camped just outside of Grand Canyon for the first night since everything was booked in the park. We were lucky to get a cancellation the second night and stayed at The Grand Canyon Lodge on the North Rim. We loved being in the park, the cabin was really cozy. The Grand Canyon was amazing. It looked so fake! I could just look at it for hours. So peaceful and beautiful. We hiked a few hikes and drove around to many unbelievable look out points. We watched the sunset over the Canyon which was incredible. Jackson and Ben recieved their Jr. Ranger Badges there.
